1) Drop south and play the flood zones. It's usually quieter, and the bots are manageable if you don't kick the hornet's nest. The first journal sits at the South Swamp Outpost on a bunk bed in the back room, glowing like it wants to get you killed. Grab it and don't run the obvious road uphill. Instead, slide along the western waterline, staying in reeds and behind wrecks. You'll quickly notice how many sniper angles watch the dam's middle, and how few people bother scanning the shoreline.

The Tunnel Shortcut And A Safer North Grab

2) Use the maintenance tunnel. Near the generator at the south outpost there's a grated door; pop the lock and you've got a clean route into mid-dam without crossing the loudest sightlines. 3) From there, push toward North Ridge Outpost with your ears on, not your ego. The second journal is inside a small office tent on a desk. I run mobility over heavy plates for this, because the real threat isn't a fair duel—it's getting pinched while you're stuck in mud or climbing. Getting Out With Both

4) Once you've got both journals, extraction is the only objective that matters. Don't loot like it's free money. Rotate wide, wait out footsteps, and let other squads crash into each other first.
